.f .
Wallace Pit
Exhibit "B"
Mining Plan
The brush and trees that need to be removed will be disposed of in
accordance with local regulations.
The topsoil which varies in depth from 0 to 4' will be removed from
the East and South portions of the site and stockpiled in the Southwest
corner.
The gravel will be removed by front end rubber tired loaders beginning
about the center of the pit and working toward the South and East. The
material mined will be transported to the crusher in the Northwest section
of the site by these same loaders.
It is estimated that the gravel to be removed is 15' to 20' in depth
which slttsuld leave the reclaimed finished elevation at about 7540' which
is a little above the South end of the site. The gradient of the pit
floor will be in this Southerly direction on a 1% to 3% slope.
Transportation of the stockpiled gravel will be by truck over the
existing roads.
There will be no surface water or water rights involved. No water
table is expected to be encountered. Water will not be used in the operation
unless required for dust control
The area involved and the total affected
area will be less than 9.9 acres.
We intend to crush in this pit about 60 days per year and remove
gravel all year depending on the demand.
The material to be produced will be sold commercially and used on
Mountain Gravel contracts.
Approximately 10,000 to 20,000 cubic yards will be mined annually
