• Kerr Coal will utilize Russell oats for springtime plantings, sorgum <br />or Sudan grass for summer plantings, and Elbon winter rye for fall <br />plantings. A11 of these species germinate rapidly, producing <br />significant root mass and cover in a short period of time. <br />following establishment of the live mulch, Kerr Coal will interseed <br />the permanent revegetation seed mixture into live mulch stands.
