Ms. Young does not know
whether this asphalt has affected groundwater resources. Third, the north pond has been
extremely murky at times, indicating that L.G. Everist may be washing excessive concrete
out of its trucks. Finally, Ms. Young is concerned that all materials used as backfill and in
the existing berms may not be inert.
L.G. Everist's Manager, Dennis Staebell, has indicated that some of these
issues are either not a problem or have been rectified. Ms. Young respectfully requests the
Division (i) to determine whether any of the problems remain and (ii) to the extent they do
remain, deny a permit for the operation until L.G. Everist has rectified the problem.
Please call me if you have any further questions or need additional
information.
Very truly/yours,
/ ~~
Charles L.
