• NEWSPAPER PUBLICATION <br />The Mt. Harris Coal Company, P.O. Box 2867, 320 Lincoln Avenue, <br />Steamboat Springs, Colorado 80477, (303) 879-3600, has filed a permit <br />with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division, an application to <br />operate a coal loadout under provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal <br />Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. Mt. Harris Coal Company is currently in <br />operation. <br />The Legal Description of the proposed loadcut facility is as follows: <br />(See Legal Description Attached) <br />The surface of the proposed permit area is owned by W.R. Grace and the <br />Denver Rio Grande Railroad. <br />The map described below indicates the towns, water bodies, local <br />• landmarks and routes necessary to readily identify the proposed permit <br />area. The proposed post-operation use of the affected land is an <br />industrial site. <br />The U.S.G.S. 7.5 Minute Quadrangle Map of the Mt. Harris, Colorado, area <br />contains the described area of the loadout facility. <br />A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the <br />Routt County Courthouse, 522 Lincoln Avenue, Steamboat Springs, Colorado <br />80477. <br />Written comments, objections, or requests for an informal conference on <br />the application may be submitted to and additional information obtained <br />from, the Mined Land Reclamation Division, Room 425, 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Denver, Colorado, 80203, (303) 866-3567.
