• Page 6 March 6, 2002 <br />Exhibit I - Sells Information (Rule 6.4.9) <br />Wetlands. The Crops of Engineers, Seahorse Ranch and American Concrete and Gravel, LLC have <br />reviewed this site for wetlands and any possible mitigation factors. After reviewing the site, and a <br />wetlands study, the fdlowing was detemrined. (1) 4.28 acres of wetlands did exist with in the site. (2) <br />base on the site being used for a sand and gravel excavation operation, the wetlands with in the site <br />were not jurisdictional. As such it was not necessary to mitigate these wetlands. Part of the <br />consideration fro this position is that when ttre Seahorse Pond Gravel Pit site was permitted, the <br />Seahorse Ranch created 7.4 acres ~ wetlands that did not exist prior to that date. The Seahorse Pond <br />Gravel Pit site contained 0.96 acres of jurisdictional wetlands. The ranch has created more wetlands <br />then that which is being disturbed with in either of the gravel pit sites. <br />Soil. See all of the above for much of the sell infomration. Most of the soils are dassified as Histic <br />Humaquepts. They have organic surface layer (Histic) which overlies alluvial sands and gravel. These <br />sells make up rrrost of the hay meadow areas. Sals approaching the Tomichi Creek are mostly <br />dassified Flueventic Endoaqudls. They fomred in alluvium which was deposited by Tomidu Creek. <br />Exhibit J -Vegetation Information (Rule 6.4.10) <br />The redamation plan Alts for all disturbed areas that are not lakes, to be revegetated using grasses <br />that are presently in use on the existing hay meadows. Some anmunts of trees and willows, common <br />to the existing hay rteadauvs are a part of this plan. See above for specifics. Undisturbed areas are to <br />be revegetated as called for abovPJherein. <br />Exhibit L - Redamatitm Costs (Rule 6.4.12) <br />859'° of die stated redamation ousts oor>sist of preparing all of the slopes with in the excavated areas. <br />See above for equipment that is irnrolved to complete the slopes. The remaining 15% of the ousts <br />consist of die purohase of grass ma from the Shc Conservation District, and the purchase of trees and <br />willows via the state program offered through Mountain Meadows Res~rch Lab, Gunnison, Cdorado. <br />Grass seed broadcasting and vegetation panting shall be completed jdntly by American Cona~e and <br />Gravel and Seahorse Ranch. The basis of these costs are developed from two sources. (1) <br />Preparation of slopes with in the Seahorse Porrd Gravel Pit This site is 0.5 miles from the proposed <br />site. (2) Adural cost Of seed and plants. <br />Exhibtt M - Otfter Pemuts and licenses (Rule 6.4.13) <br />Permit applied for, see above. <br />Exhibit O -Owners of Recur! of Affected Lands (Rule 6.4.15) <br />Gately Living Trust is listed as the owner of the proposed site, the Trust is the only owner of the site. <br />Easements. All easemerfs are identfied with in the application and/ or above with in this letter. <br />Exhibit S - Pernanerrt Man{nade Structures (Rule 6.4.19) <br />The gas line piled out in 6ktcbit O of the application is a 6" round high pressure gas line. tt runs along <br />the south side of the Old Railroad Grade Road. The Old Railroad Grade Road is an undsturbed arp. <br />No excavation will take place with in this easement. A setback of 25'-0" from the easement will be <br />maintained at all dues. <br />
