i ~
Exhibit "C"--Maps
See attached maps of parcels 1 and 2.
Exhibit "D"--Wildlife, Water Resources,
Vegetation and Soils Information
Wildlife, vegetation and soils information will be
supplied separately.
Water information:
The operations in both parcels do not directly
affect surface or ground water systems. Some of the rock
pit areas do collect water which then offers a source of
water to the wildlife in the area.
Exhibit "E"--Reclamation Plan
Parcel #1:
Many of the quarries opened by previous operators
have already been reclaimed by nature. Generally, the
quarry areas will be cleaned up and nonorganic materials
removed. There are several quarry areas within this parcel
which are pit type quarries. These areas will not be filled
in and will remain open. Areas where rubble has been piled
up will be graded to a 10-15~ grade or level with the natural
grade of the area. Areas which are graded will then be
spread with three to six inches of top soil or find and
seeded with natural grasses and yellow pine seeds. The open
faces of rock will remain as such.
Parcel 2:
The sandstone quarry area to the north has been
reclaimed by nature as indicated on the attached photograph.
If any rock is removed from this area, reclamation will be
accomplished by maintaining the natural grade and spreading
natural grass and yellow pine seeds.
The dolomite area when exhausted will be leveled,
spread with three to six inches of top soil and yellow pine
and natural grass seeds.
The third quarry in the draw when reclaimed will
be graded to restore the natural slope and then seeded.
-2-
