This proposed mine is known as the Heit Sand and Gravel Mine. <br />You are being notified of this application, as required by the Colorado DMG, <br />because Qwest is shown as owning property adjacent to the project. The <br />proposed date of commencement is late 2003, and the proposed date of <br />completion is late 2010. The proposed future uses of the land are a lined water <br />storage reservoir and a wildlife habitat pond. Additional information and tentative <br />decision date may he obtained from the Division of Minerals and Geology, 1313 <br />Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. Kate <br />Pickford is the Environmental Specialist working on this project. Comments must <br />be in writing and must be received by the Division of Minerals and Geology within <br />20 days of receipt of this notice. <br />Banks and Gesso, LLC is representing the applicant in the permit application <br />process.
