ON -•,`, !',I• <br /> Mined Land Reclamation Division <br /> 423 Centennial Building <br /> 1313 Sherman Street <br /> Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> RE: Varra Companies, Inc. - Amendment; File No. M-74-52 <br /> Dear David: <br /> The following is in response to the Varra Amendment adequacy <br /> letter dated June 17, 1985. <br /> Enclosed is a revised map showing the existing area of Pit #1 <br /> with the Mining Plan of the area to be amended. <br /> The existing Pit #1 is in its final stages of reclamation. <br /> The Annual Report is due September 23, 1985. Operator requests <br /> MLRB to inspect the site and address the final measures for bond <br /> re ction before the Annual Report due date. <br /> The plant site is to remain active for processing excavated <br /> materials from the amended site. The entire Pit #1 should be <br /> ready for Bond Release except the plant site, approximately 20 <br /> acres, and areas needing final dressing. <br /> We believe the bond is seg at $139,500.00. The inspection <br /> will ' indicate how much area is ready for release and how much <br /> area should remain bonded. Operator requests the required bond <br /> for the amendment be transferred from a portion of the amount <br /> available for release. It is anticipated that there will be more <br /> money than necessary for bonding of the remaining Pit #1 and <br /> amended site.
