' IV. EXHIBIT C -PRE-i\[INING PLAN AND AFFECTED LANDS <br />E.xhibi[ C is intended [o fulfill the requirements of Sections 3q-32-112 (d), subsections (c). <br />(e). (f), (g), (h), and (i) of [he Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Ac[ as outlined in [he <br />' Mineral Rules and Regulations of the DMG and the Mined Land Reclamation Board. <br />Generally, the required information relates to adjacent property ownership, the name and <br />location of surface features and structures within 200 ft of the boundaries of the affected land. <br />' existing topography, the [oral area of mined and affected lands, vegetation, and water <br />resource information as required by the DMG. <br />Adjacent property ownership and owners within approximately 500 ft of the proposed <br />' operation for the East 8th Street Operation are shown on [he accompanying Figure C-L Pre- <br />Iv(ining Plan Map and listed on Table C-I, at d[e end of this section. Adjacent ownership is <br />also listed on Table C-1 a[ [he end 9~ this section. Existing adjacent land use consists of: L) <br />the Cache La Poudre River to the south; 2) Ash Avenue, light industry and a portion of the <br />City of Greeley Wastewater Treatment Facility to the west 3) light industry to the east; and <br />' 41 East 8`" Srreet, light industry and pastureland to the north. <br />' Figure C-I is based on a recent aerial photograph of the site that readily portrays existing site <br />conditions. The same base topography, in conjunction with more recent USGS quadrangle <br />topography, .vas also used to develop the Mining Plan and Reclamation Plan [vlaps in <br />' Exhibits D and F, respectively. The ground surface ranges from approximately El. 4680 ft to <br />EI. =i620 ft and dips gently south [ow'ards the Cache La Poudre River. <br />1 _.~ In addition, 100-year Iloodplain information is depicted on the topography/air photo map <br />' based on information taken From the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Flood <br />Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) for the site area. The relevant FIRM map is Number <br />08001C005~-G dated 16 August 199. <br />The total permit area [o be involved in the operation, including mined areas and areas of <br />' ancillary operations, such as perimeter stockpile areas and haul roads will be approximately <br />70 acres for both mining options. Previous land use was primarily as a feedlot for cattle. <br />Presently, there is no activity on the property. <br />Kev water mformauon is included in Exhibit G -Water Information is included on Figure G- <br />' I for reference.
