The <br />operation consists of a dry and wet pit with sand and gravel being <br />excavated to a depth of as much as 50 feet. A dragline or loader <br />excavates the sand and gravel which is crushed, washed, graded and <br />stockpiled. Dewatering is accomplished as necessary by pumping into <br />settling lagoons located at the east end of the tract. Water used in <br />the plant is taken from Clear Creek by pump. Water rights for this pump <br />are held by the land owner and are available to the operator (see letter <br />in Exhibit G). <br /> <br />
