This agreement is for a term commencing January 1, 1980, and <br />terminating December 31, 1989 (ten years). It shall be renewable for an <br />additional ten years at a rate based on the 1989 gravel coats as compared <br />- to the 1979 cost of extracted gravel. Said option must be exercised in <br />writing within sixty days of the termination of the initial term of this <br />lease. <br />2. WRIGHT agrees to pay FURMAN twenty cents per yard for said gravel <br />extracted from said land; and WRIGHT may install an on-site batch and/or <br />cement plant to assist in this operation. <br />3. WRIGHT agrees to give first parties a written statement stating <br />the amount of gravel extracted from said property, on or before the first day <br />of each two-week period for gravel extracted in the preceding two weeks (if - <br />d <br />desired by FURMAN), and to remit to FURMAN the amount due for gravel extracted <br />during said period, if it exceeds $500.00; otherwise the amount due shall be <br />paid monthly. <br />4. It'ia mutually agreed that WRIGHT will arrange for workmen's <br />compensation on all his employees. <br />ri <br />
