We lave met
Faith Gary 'Tuttle representing the 'applicant and discussed this proposal
fiurther, particularly the issue of the potential effects on the streamside
trees of a possible drop in the cater table. As indicated E7'1 the attached
sheets, the applicant has proposed a strategy for monitoring the canditim of
the trE!es as mining progresses and mitigatim measures to be taken should the
trees be affected. The measures proposed, if implemented as indicated, appear
to us 1d be a reasorwble approach to addressing this questiarT.
If you have any questions, feel free to cmtact me at 291-7231.
SincerEaly,
~~Gw~
Dave WEaber
Habitat Biologist
cc: Mark Lamb
Gary Tuttle
iii iiiiiiiiiiiu iii
~•
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES.
