From the crest the road is on an approxi-
mate 6° to 8° grade. From the crest to the north sideroad to
the Miller residence is approximately 765 feet. Three hundred
eighty-four (384) feet further east is the south sideroad to
the Diehl residence. For safety reasons, this grade would
necessitate downshifting, a speed zone and extreme caution.
There could be big problems after rain and snow. idestbound
traffic would have hill-climbing with resultant dust and
noise contamination.
No legal notices concerning the Andesite Rock Company Pro-
posal were published in the North I•]eld Herald, the paper
which serves this area. We heard of the Proposal via the
grapevine.
We ask that the Andesite Rock Company be denied usage of
[field County Road 124 for hauling and equ/ipment_t/ra/nsport.
S inc e r e lyG7~/~ G~'ln,vt+-G ~ `~/
Jack and Anita Miller Mike and Sharon Diehl
9303 ideld County Road 124 9378 [field County Road 124
Carr, CO 80612 Carr, CO 80612
Enclosure
cc: Weld County Commissioners
Keith Schuett, ideld County Planning
