<br />2.03.7 Relationship to Areas Designated Unsuitable for Mining <br />The area which GEC Minerals, Inc. plans to mine during the next <br />five (5) years as described within this permit application has <br />not been designated as unsuitable for mining nor is this area <br />adjacent to an area which has been designated as unsuitable for <br />mining. <br />GEC Minerals, Inc. does not currently propose to operate within <br />300 feet of an occupied dwelling. However, it does operate <br />within 300 feet of the adjacent Dorchester Colomine surface <br />facilities. Planning and coordination between these two companies <br />allow for both operations to proceed in a safe manner. <br />2.03.8 Permit Term Information <br />• GEC Minerals, Inc. plans to mine approximately 164.7 acres of land <br />during the next five (5) years as a continuation of its existing <br />operation. The location of this area is shown on Map No. 15, <br />Kline Plan and listed in Table 2.05.3, Affected Areas for Mining <br />and Reclamation. <br />GEC Minerals, Inc. does not plan to conduct underground mining <br />activities during this period of time. <br />2.03.9 Personal Injury and Property Damage Insurance Information <br />A certificate of GEC Minerals, Inc.'s public liability insurance <br />for the surface coal mining and reclamation operation is shown in <br />Exhibit 19. Coverage under this insurance is as listed below. <br />Minimum Coveraoe <br />Each Occurrence Aggregate <br />Bodily Injury $500,000 $500,000 <br />.
