iii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiii <br />Doc Date:12/11/2001 <br />• / <br />SQL <br />RULE 2.03 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT FOR SURFACE COAL <br />2.03.1 Objective <br />To ensure that the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division receives <br />all relevant information regarding ownership and control of surface <br />coal mining operations, the compliance history and status of the <br />applicant and other information required in the application has <br />been prepared and submitted by GEC Minerals, Inc. <br />2.03.2 Responsibilities <br />GEC Minerals, Inc. is providing the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Division a written application to continue to perform surface coal <br />mining and reclamation operations at its mine near Florence, <br />• Colorado. <br />2.03.3 Format and Suoolemental Informati <br />The information within this application is current, presented clearly <br />and concisely and supported by appropriate references to documents <br />and other written material available to GEC Minerals, Inc. <br />All tests, analyses, or surveys are carried out pursuant to these <br />rules, each performed or certified by a qualified person and analyzed <br />by methods and equipment approved by EPA or USGS. <br />Forms provided by the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division have <br />been utilized for this surface coal mining and reclamation permit <br />application.
