<br />E X H I B I T "C" <br />The original topography of the quarry site was a practically vertical face <br />of solid granite approximately 150' in height and a very steep hil:.side ris- <br />ing approximately 400' in elevation in 1200' horizontal above this cliff in <br />a granite formation. If this slope was left, it would be subject to severe <br />erosion and would probably not sustain any vegetation. Such was ttie case <br />,prior to starting the mining operation. Very few trees, shrubs, grass or <br />topsoil existed on the original slope. Our proposed plan would be to leave <br />the sl8pes in a terrace form with some areas flattened for reveget:ition and <br />which would contain moisture from snow and rain. <br />,.. <br />
