Dept. of Natural Resources
Dear A7r. Sullivan:
~~
Attached is the permit application for the Ilender-
son Mine and the comprehensive program for land reclamation
and stabilization cahich will be implemented in conjunction
with the Henderson operation as required by Colorado Revised
Statutes 1973, 34-32-101, et se~C. and by the Regulations of
the Mined Land Reclamation Board.
The reclamation program has been developed through
our continued research with various universities and indepen-
dent agencies, and through the utilization of techniques and
methods developed by our own personnel. Past experience and
on-going critical evaluation has reinforced our confidence
in the future success of the Henderson reclamation project,
and we feel that the proposed measures fully comply with the
spirit and desired objectives of the Colorado t•Iined Land Rec-
lamation Act of 1976.
Lae have designed this as a flexible plan which can
accommodate additions and modifications as new advances in
reclamation technology and mineral extract indicate. Lde hope
it meets with your approval.
Very truly yours,
A~~IAX Inc.
a ~ `\
[J- F. Distler
Vice President
LJI'D: and
Attach.
