The route
has been modified to improve the grade out of the Wadge
pits and to avoid safety hazards at the base of the Wadge
highwall.
The road relocation will cross previously disturbed and
graded terrain. Approximately 7.8 acres of the route has
been retopsoiled. The topsail will be salvaged and placed
in topsoil stockpile or direct hauled to regraded ground
(Tab 13, Page 13-7). The road will be constructed
according to the requirements for haul roads within the
disturbed area as detailed in Rule 4.03.1 and described on
Pages 12-28 to 12-30, (Tab 12, Volume 10) of the Seneca II
Permit Application Package. Typical drainage control is
shown on existing Exhibit 7-14. The road will be
constructed at grade as much as possible to minimize any
additional disturbance to reclaimed ground.
As state above, the entire area of this road relocation is
within current disturbance limits and therefore is
adequately covered under existing bond.
Also included in this submittal is a revised Tab 15,
reflecting approval dates for Minor Revision 26 and Minor
Revision 27, along with a new tab for Minor Revision 28.
•
