Lochhead
ExKmive Director
Michael B. Long
Division Director
I completed my initial technical review of the referenced gLavel pit. In addition, I completed
a pre-operation inspection of the site on January 30, 1995.
While reviewing the file I noticed you had submitted a couple of letters expressing your
concerns about the flow of excess irrigation water being expelled through Mr. Million's
property. Since I did not bear from you during the 20 day comment period I assumed you
worked out the problem with Mr. Million to your satisfaction. If the problem has been
resolved please let me know. Or, more importantly, if the problem has not been resolved let
me know right away so the Division can determine whether, pursuant to Rule 1.4.6 and 2.7,
an informal conference and pre-hearing conference will be requ'ued.
If you have any questions give me a call.
Sincerely,
~~ ~~
James DL113e
Environmental Protection Specialist
M:\OSSV mm\SChleich.jd
