i• <br />SECTION 1.6 - INTRODOCTION <br />This section contains the necessary information on subsidence <br />required to satisfy the regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board for Coal Mining (CMLRB) and the Federal <br />Permanent Regulatory Program of the Office of Surface Mining for <br />Storm King Mines proposed Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine in Garfield <br />County, Colorado. <br />An inventory of all structures and renewable resource lands <br />which exist within the proposed permit and adjacent areas has been <br />prepared. A description of the worst possible consequences of <br />subsidence on structures and renewable resource lands has been <br />developed. Based on the worst possible consequences of <br />subsidence, a determination of no possible subsidence related <br />• material damage and/or diminution of reasonably foreseeable use <br />has been made. A limited subsidence monitoring program is also <br />presented. <br /> <br />pag e 4 <br />
