Sherman, Suite 2
Englewood, Colorado 80110
October 30, 1979
RE: SOILS/VEGETATION INVENTORY -Braley Sand and Gravel Pit
Dear Mr. MarCurano:
Enclosed are soils materials relating to this property. Soils are
outlined on Shee[ 7 of the Castle Rock Area Soil Survey. The
Blakeland and Orsa soil series are found on this site. Copies of
series and mapping units were made fmm the Soil Survey book.
Much additional soils information is contained in the book.
The pit site has already been disturbed. Thus, the only vege-
tation found are annual weeds and grasses. This would be a com-
bination of plants such as tumbling mustard, field bindweed,
chea[grass, Russian thistle, kochian and cocklebur.
Tf more in-depth reclamation planning assistance is needed at a
later date, the Douglas County Soil Conservation District would
need to have a written request. This should show what the inten-
tions are for doing a quality project.
Since ly,
Doug Lofstedt,
District Conservationist
cc: Douglas County SCD
EXHIBIT "D" - Wildlife, Water
Resources, Vegetation and Soil Information
Page 3 0
v
