,~

Adequacy Review
Kennedy Pit
M-90-116
Application Form
~'~i
1. Our Application Forms have been revised. Enclosed herewith please find
a copy of our current Limited Impact Operation Application Package. We
will complete the processing on this application as received; in the
future, however, please contact this office prior to submitting an
application to be sure that you are using the appropriate form.
Mining plan
2. The application indicates that "the excavation will be such that ground
eater elevations will not be encountered". What is the depth to ground
water? Does this level fluctuate seasonally? Please provide us with
the data upon which you base your conclusion that no ground water will
~e encountered.
3. Please address the potential for adverse impacts to stream channel
stability as a result of your operations, and measures which will be
taken to mitigate such impacts.
MaP
4. Based on your legal description, it appears that you intend to permit
only that area within the banks of Frenchman Creek. It also appears,
however, that you propose to stockpile materials on the bank. Be
+rdvised that all stockpile areas must be included within the permit
I~oundary. Please revise your map and legal description to clearly
define the proposed permit boundary.
5. Please provide a more detailed topographic map of the site, a
cross-section, or a narrative description sufficient to provide a
better idea of the physical configuration of the site and surrounding
area.
0017E
