DANIELSON, DEPUTY STATE ENGINEER <br />SUBJECT: SIGNAL PEAK RANCH, GUNNISON COUNTY, APPLICATION FOR <br />LIMITED-IMPACT MINING AND RECLAMATION PERMTT <br />As requested by your office, we have reviewed the application for a gravel <br />pit near Gunnison. The applicant has provided insufficient information <br />concerning his use of water in the proposed mining operation. If water will <br />be required for dust control, irrigation, sanitation or other purposes, we <br />recommend that the Board be provided with additional information concerning <br />the source and amounts of water to be used. The applicant should also <br />provide specific data concerning the augmentation plan mentioned in the <br />letter of September 27, 1978 from P. C. Klingsmith, Jr., to R. C. Campbell. <br />A.
