Depletions for evaporation from gravel washing operations have been calculated to be 500
gallons per day based upon previous experience. It is expected that the gravel washing operations
will be in operation a maximum of 52 weeks per year and 5 days per week. This would result in
a consumption of 0.34 acre-feet per month with a total of 4.08 acre-feet per year.
Dust will be controlled by water as needed. Water will only be used to spot water roads when
conditions on the access roads and in the pit warrant the use of water to control dust. 2.0 acre-
feet per year will be allocated to dust control, or 0.17 acre-feet per month.
Total annual depletions from the gravel mining operations aze estimated to be 9.23 acre-feet per
yeaz during the mining phase.
After reclamation, approximately 25.9 acres of water surface will experience an annual
evaporation of 40 inches. This is the equivalent of 86.3 acre feet per yeaz.
White River City Pit December 06 H-5
