<br />• EXHIBIT I <br />SOILS <br />The Soil Conservation Service was contacted as to the soils at this <br />site,due to the fact that the affected land is within the National <br />Forest the Soil Conservation Service does not have any information on <br />the soils type at this location. <br />The Salida District Ranger made an on site inspection of the affected <br />lands and the soil condition was discussed. A complex of stoney loam <br />over limestone at depths of less than 10 inches. Rock outcrops gen- <br />erally make up from 10 to 25% of the area. Air, root and water pene- <br />tration is good, but limited by depth. <br />Salinity Rate - not observed <br />Water table depth - 10 inches <br />Frost Heave Potential - low <br />Corrositivity, Concrete - low <br />Untreated Steel - low <br />Compressibility or Bearing - low <br />Frequency o£ flooding -nonee <br /> <br />• <br />
