• i
•
EXHIBIT G
Tdater Informaticr.
This operation will not directly affect surface or ground caater systems.
T.te Daly known tributary water course on the affected land is Trout
Creek which flows adjacent to, and west of highway 28 i. Trout Creek
:gill be crossed in order to obtain access from the mining area to the
highway. :. road will be cons*_ructed as shoran on exhibit B and will
be of approved culvert construction. This access will not effect the
Trout Creek water system.
The amount of water carr_ed by Trout Creek varies from a very minimal
trick~e during the later summer months to a more substantial flow
during run off periods in the spring. However, the best inforaatio-:
available is that the average stream flow is less than five second
feet. Records on file wit:: the U.S. Geological Survey and the office
of the State Engineer of Colorado indicate there never has been a
recorded measurement of the stream fl.;w on Trout Creek. An examina-
tion of the applications for caater right adjudications to the stream
indicates there are ~ total of eight a?plications from priority nu~.bar
one to priority number A-lul. Based upon all available data and upon
• i:_formatior: from observation and belief and upon an iaforc.ai opinior.
givin by the State Engineers Office, the average flow would be a,.prox-
imately four second feet and would not exceed five second feet of ~aatar
i;ar second of rise.
There are no known tributary caater courses, wells, springs, stockcaater,
pord~, reservoirs, c:itches or aquifers on the land effected by the
mining activity.
•
