Your application has been received by the Division and a
preliminary analysis has been made. It has been determined that-~
emission permit will be required for the above referenced source as
the production rate will be 70,000 tons per year or less. An Air
Pollutant Emission Notice is required, however, as emissions of
particulate matter less than 10 microns (PM,o) will be more than one
ton per year.
This exemption from permit requirements is issued in reliance upon
the accuracy and completeness of information supplied by the
applicant and is conditioned upon construction, installation, and
operation in accordance with this information and with
representations made by the applicant or the applicant's agents.
Specifically, this exemption has been granted provided that the
following information is accurate and complete:
1. The production rate does not exceed 70,000 tons per year.
Annual records of the actual production rate shall be
maintained and made available to the Division for inspection
upon request.
2. Visible emissions shall not exceed 20% opacity.
3. There shall be no transport of visible emissions off-site.
4. The applicant shall follow the control plan as submitted with
the application.
