Notice of Filing Application <br />For Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Permit <br />Limited Impact (110) Application <br />Notice of Filing of Application <br />With the Garfield County Clerk & Recorder <br />Chevron Shale Oil Company, a division of Chevron U.S.A. Inc. (Operator) has applied <br />for a Construction Materials Limited Impact Reclamation Permit from the Colorado <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board ("the Boazd") Known as the Cleaz Creek Construction <br />Materials Mine to conduct a mining operation in Garfield County. The attached <br />information is being provided to notify you of the location and nature of the proposed <br />operation. The entire application is on file with the Division of Minerals and Geology <br />(DMG) (the Division}. <br />The applicant proposes to reclaim the land as close to undisturbed as possible. This notice <br />is being delivered to you since the proposed mine is located in a portion of the <br />SW l/4SE1/4 of Section 36, and a portion of the N2 of section 4, Townships 5 & 6 South, <br />Range 98 West, of the 6a' P.M., Garfield County, Colorado, not exceeding 8.0 acres. <br />Accordingly, the Boazd would appreciate your comments on the proposed operation. <br />Please note that, in order to ensure your right to a hearing before the Boazd on this <br />application, you must submit written comments on the application within ten (10) days <br />after the applicant's newspaper publication. <br />If you would like to discuss the proposed post-mining land use, or any other issue <br />regazding this application, please contact the Division of Minerals and Geology, 1313 <br />Sherman St., Room 215, Denver, CO 80203, (303) 866-3567. <br />Chevron Shale Oil Company, a division of Chevron U.S.A.
