We are happy to submit the following <br />background information in response to your specific questions concerning <br />the proposed masonry sand operation in Sand Creek. <br />1) Minim Plan <br />a. When will you start mining? <br />The operation will commence immediately upon receipt of a <br />permit from the Mined Land Reclamation Board which we anticipate will <br />be on December 20, 1979. The first items to be constructed will be the <br />entrance road from State Highway 30, perimeter fencing, and the electric <br />service from PicadilLy Road. The washing plant equipment will then be <br />installed for operation by March 1980 with full time mining and processing <br />starting at that time. It is entirely possible, however, that some sand will <br />be mined from Tract #1 in December 1979 during and after construction of <br />the entrance road, and it is desired to post surety on the Washing Plant <br />Area and Tract #1 of the Excavation Area at the time the permit is issued. <br />
