On page 2.05-114, in the second paragraph, text reads "...underground water flow <br />direction is believed to be joint and fractures which are oriented..." Please correct. <br />11. On page 2.05-120, under Historic Mining, text reads "...eight feet of Primero Coal using <br />room and pillaz techniques with secondary retreat mining from 1902-1025...". Should <br />this read 1902-1925? <br />Rule 2.03 <br />12. Please state whether all tests, analyses and surveys, carried out pursuant to the Board's <br />Regulations, were performed or certified by qualified persons (Section 2.03.3(2)). If <br />certain tests, analyses or surveys were not performed or certified by qualified persons, <br />please describe those tests, etc., and discuss why these where not performed or certified <br />by qualified persons. <br />13. Please state whether all water quality sampling and laboratory analyses were conducted <br />in accordance with either the current edition of "Standard Methods for the Examination <br />of Water and Wastewater' or the methodology in 40 CFR 136 and 434 (Section <br />2.03.3(4)). If certain water quality sampling and laboratory analyses were not conducted <br />in accordance with these methods, please describe that sampling and analysis, and discuss <br />why they were not conducted according to these methodologies. <br />14. Please provide the dates of collection and analysis of the technical data submitted in the <br />application (Section 2.03.3(5)(b)). It this information is currently disseminated throughout <br />the permit, please describe where it may be located. <br />15. Please describe the methodologies used to collect and analyze the technical data submitted <br />in the application (Section 2.03.3(5)(c)). <br />16. Please provide the names, addresses, and positions of officials of any private research <br />organization, academic research organization, or governmental agency consulted in <br />obtaining any of the information submitted in the application pertaining to land uses, soils, <br />geology, vegetation, fish and wildlife,' water quality and quantity, air quality, and <br />archaeology, cultural, or historic features. If no private reseazch organization, academic <br />research organization, or governmental agency was consulted in obtaining this data, please <br />state this. <br />17. Section 2.03.4(3) of the Board's Regulations requires the application to contain <br />information pertaining to "persons" (as defined at Section 1.04(92)) who "own and/or <br />control" (as defined at Section 1.04(83a)) the applicant (Lorencito Coal Company, LLC). <br />It is apparent that the following are being identified as "persons" who "own and/or <br />control" Lorencito Coal Company: <br />
