<br />138. Please provide the plans, drawings and designs for all access roads proposed to be <br />constructed within the permit azea. These should include specifications for each road <br />width, road gradient, road surface, road cut, fill embankment, culvert, bridge, drainage <br />ditch and drainage structure (Section 2.05.3(3)(c)). These plans and drawings should <br />demonstrate that the access road designs incorporated consideration of the needs of the <br />specific uses of the road (Section 4.03.2(1)(c)). <br />The designs must have been prepazed by, or under the direction of, a qualified registered <br />professional engineer experienced in the design and construction of roads. The designs <br />must also be certified by a qualified registered professional engineer experienced in the <br />design and construction of roads, as meeting the requirements of Section 2.05.3, current <br />and prudent engineering practices, and the design criteria of 4.03.1 and 4.03.2 (Section <br />2.05.3(3)(c)(vii)). <br />139. Figure 2.05.3-14 needs to be certified (Section 2.10.3(2)). <br />140. No information pertaining to access road reclamation (Section 4.03.2(7)) or retention <br />(Section 4.03.2(1)(g)) was provided. Please provide this. <br />141. Please distinguish on Maps 2.05.3-] between existing light use haul roads that will not <br />be used for operation, existing light use roads that will be used for the operation, and new <br />light use roads that will be constructed upon approval of this application. Identify also <br />the light use roads that have built for coal exploration conducted in the area. <br />142. Please provide the plans, drawings and designs for all light use roads proposed to be <br />constructed within the permit area. These should include specifications for each road <br />width, road gradient, road surface, road cut, fill embankment, culvert, bridge, drainage <br />ditch, and drainage structure (Section.2.05.3(3)(c)). The designs shall demonstrate <br />compliance with Section 4.03.3. <br />143. No information pertaining to light use road reclamation or retention (Section 4.03.3(1)(d)) <br />was provided in the application. <br />144. Permit application page 2.05-62, indicates that 50% of the haul road surface will be <br />reclaimed, indicating that 50% of the haul road width will remain. Have all the <br />appropriate demonstrations and land owner concurrence been provided to comply with <br />Rule 4.03.1(f)? (JB) <br />Rule 4.04 Support Facilities <br />145.
