The Division has completed the review of the Lorencito Canyon mine permit application. As you
know, a number of staff contributed to the review. I have organized ow comments by nwnerical
order of the Rules. This has led to a general mixing of each staff members questions. You may
have the need during yow review of ow comments to contact the Division for clazification or
assistance in prepazing yow written response. I would prefer that you contact the particular staff
member who wrote the original question, when possible. To assist in determining who asked the
question, I have provided a listing of the Rule citation and the individual who reviewed that
section. When two or more individuals had questions under a specific Rule heading, I have
indicated their initials, when different than what is indicated by the listing below. Normally,
when a question is requesting additional information, it is assumed that this information will be
provided as changes or additions to the permit application contents, rather than as a cover letter
response.
