There is a small ephemeral stream that runs <br />diagonally southwest across the west edge of the property. <br />The underground mining of the coal will not operate on or <br />disturb In any way the present condition of the surface <br />eacept for possible subsidence. This subsidence will be <br />monitored by elevation control points (subsidence monitoring <br />points) as indicated on the enclosed map. There will not be <br />any further disturbance at the mine portal bench because <br />of this addition. The addition provides additional reserves <br />for the continued operation of the mine. Other data such <br />as geological field studies of the overburden and underburden, <br />the study aerial photography, communication with other mine <br />operators, and study of eaisting drill hole data all <br />indicate that there are no aquifers above the coal <br />seam. <br />
