'.. ~.. .. ~., ~~ .,, .. ~i').,
This letter is to clarify what your agency will need to consider our load
out application adequate. As we discussed in our meeting on November 10th, you
need the following information:
(1) Site specific profile, range site description, topsoil depth b location.
(2) Map showing location of portable crusher, coal stockpile, topsoil stock-
pile and land use of area around load out site.
These two items I will be taking care of and getting back with you. You
also raised several other questions which we are passing on to the owner of land,
Union Pacific. We feel that since they own the property on which the load out
facility will be located they should be made aware of your concerns regarding:
(1) Reclamation Plan - We do not know what condition they want the land
left at the end of t11e lease.
(2) Hydrology - The culvert design you requested will come under the State
Highway Driveway Approach permit. This permit must be
issued to the owner of the land, Union Pacific.
I am enclosing a copy of the letter sent to Union Pacific concerning the
questions you raised. Let me know the status of. your denlin~s with I;nion
Pacific, and I will try to co-ordinate our efforts to get our permit adequate.
Sincerely,
Jay Stewart
ENCL
cc:file
JS:mm
