Box Colorado xaaooc, was deemed complete for the purposes of filing. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing. The applicant proposes to conduct surface coal mining operations at the Mine. The proposed permit area encompasses approximately xxxxx acres, and is located approximately xx miles ~oooc2ooocx of the town of aoooooaooc, is xxxxxx County. This application is for a new operation. The legal description of the proposed permit area is as follows: The above mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of ~aoocoooooc. Pursuant to the above referenced Act, we are requesting your agency's evaluation of the potential for impacts to threatened or endangered species of plants or animals, or wildlife species otherwise protected by federal law. In order for us to approve this application, we are required to make a finding that "the activities would not affect the continued existence of endangered or threatened species or result in the destruction or adverse modification of their critical habitats as determined under the Endangered Species Act of 1973...".
