Shelton <br />Director <br />September 21, 1982 <br />Pfesa County Board of Commissioners <br />Mesa County Court House . <br />6th and Road Avenue <br />Grand Junction, Colorado 81501 <br />Dear Sirs: <br />Pursuant to Section 34-33-119 of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation <br />Act, this letter is to inform you of the Mined Land Reclamation Division's <br />proposed decision to approve a permit for an underground coal mining operation. <br />The operation in question is the Munger Canyon mine located approximately <br />20 miles north of Loma, Colorado on Highway 139. The affected lands are <br />in parts of Sections 27, 28, 29, 33, and 34 of T7S, R102W; Scctions 2, 3, and 4 of <br />TBS, R102W; and Section 34 of T2N, R3W. <br />Enclosed is a copy of the proposed decision. A public notice announcing <br />this proposed decision is being published in the Daily Sentinel.
