<br />Operations Description - Rules 2 05 2 2 05 3(1) 2 05 3[2) and <br />4.01 <br />1. Storm King Mines is providing an insert page to the <br />application text commiting to submittal of detailed plans for <br />escapeways and raises prior to construction of said escapeways <br />and/or raises. (see page 4-26a, rev. December 14, 1984) <br />2. Storm King Mines is preparing a revised map showing the <br />permit area (5-year), affected area, and disturbed area for Phase <br />"A". The sequence of mining during Phase "A" is outlined on <br />revised Figure 4.2-6 entitled [+line Plan Longitudinal Section and <br />Figure 4.2-4 Operation Plan. The affected area for Phase "A" is <br />shown to include rock tunnels, mine workings and a possible zone <br />of subsidence. These revised figures are enclosed with this <br />letter for inclusion in Permit documents. <br />3. The water tank shown on drawing 7-3, page 4-63o is a <br />pre-existing fiberglass sub-surface potable water tank which <br />supplies the Riverbend Subdivision. This pre-existing facility <br />has no connection with the Coal Ridge PUD or the Coal Ridge Mine. <br />The only reason it was mapped on page 4-63o was to assist with <br />assessing any effects to be anticipated from the limited blasting <br />associated with rock tunnel development. <br />Roads - Rules 2.05.3(3) and 4.03 <br />1. Storm King Mines is providing an insert page (attached) <br />describing the company's commitment to certification of the <br />access road by a registered professional engineer.
