Using the 2.04.3 Land Use map in the permit application a
measurement revealed that our new home is only about 3,7001ineaz feet from the
proposed mine access and haul road leading to County Road 79. Therefore, we have
major concerns about traffic congestion and safety, noise, property values and water
rights.
Additionally, there appears to be an error in the public notice. The notice states that the
"mine access and haul road leading to the facilities azea will intersect the right-of--way of
County Road 79 a distance of 0.52 miles east of the junction of County Road 79 and
County Road 11A." However, the 2.04.3 Land Use map clearly shows the mine access
and haul road will intersect County Road 79 to the west of the junction of County Road
79 and County Road 11A approximately 0.52 miles. If the Land Use map is correct, the
error of the public notice would minimize the additional traffic congestion to the public
understanding.
Sincerely yours,
~~
Gary W.
