Ms. Anne C. Baldrige
Page 2
August 7, 1985
the University of Colorado Herbarium and has been identified
as variety microptera and not the variety crassinervia listed
in the January 1984 "Plant Species of Special Concern". The
text in the vegetation baseline section of the permit will be
revised to include this information.
Stipulation No. 7 requires verification data (originally referred
to as baseline data) for the vegetation occurring in undisturbed
native vegetation along the realigned corridor. The data is
being collected and analyzed for the new corridor area and the
reference area during this 1985 field season. A draft report
from the contractor will be submitted to Peabody by August 15,
with the final report submitted to the CMLR by the first week
of September.
The remaining vegetation/reclamation stipulations, based on
our meeting of August 7 and the final approved version of the
findings document, will be addressed as required and under the
time frames specified.
If you have any questions or need further clarification on my
response to the above two stipulatons, please contact me at
your earliest convenience.
Sincerely,
~JMti~
Vern R.
