As re-
quired under Section 2.10.3(2), the designs and drawings must be certified
by a qualified registered professional engineer.
2, Snowmass must submit removal costs of this structure and include these
costs as part of the bond required by Rule 3.
3. Snowmass must submit as part of .the application, a plan to replace the
water supply of the ditch user in the event failure of the ditch occurs. The
plan should be designed such that the users water supply is not interrupted
for a period of time that would result in crop damage. Snowmass should
include a worse case estimate of the time required to implement this plan.
4. Snowmass must commit to inspecting the ditch alteration daily during
the irrigation season and to report any Leaks or potential failure to both
the Division and the downstream user immediately.
S. Snowmass must commit to maintain the ditch until the Division releases
bond on the site.
6. Prior to the removal of the concrete and restoration of the ditch, Snow-
mass must request written comments from the ditch user on whether the ditch
should be retained as it is, or restored to its original condition.
If you have any questions or problems with these requirements, please feel
free to contact me to discuss them. However, you should be aware that the
Division cannot approve the pending permit until this issue has been satis-
factorily resolved.
Sincerel
,w, '~ L
i~
Robert G.
