Pursuant to Title 33, Article 34, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised Statutes,
the Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice that on November 21,
1994, an application for a permit to conduct coal mining operations at the Yoast
Mine, File No. C-94-082, by Seneca Coal Company, 36600 Routt County Road 27,
Drawer D, Hayden, Colorado 81639, was deemed complete for the purposes of
filing. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations
promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing.
The applicant proposes to conduct surface coal mining operations at the mine site
located approximately 8.5 miles southeast of Hayden, Colorado, which is further
described as follows:

public inspection at the Hayden Public Library, 225 East Jefferson Avenue,
Hayden, Colorado. Written comments, objections or requests for an informal
conference on the application may be submitted to, and additional information
