Cattany
Division DireROr
Natural Resource Trustee
Please find attached a letter recently received from the State Historic Preservation
Office. I think the letter is fairly clear and indicates a need for a cultural resources
survey to be completed for the proposed disturbed area(s) and on lands above the area
to be undermined and subsided. The survey over the affected area would be related to
structures that could be affected by subsidence and any potential rock art or other
feature associated with cliffs and possible destruction due to subsidence.
If you have any questions, please call me.
Sincerely,
`~~~~-
Kent Gorham
Environmental Protection Specialist II
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Active and Inactive Mines
