Jim Herron -3- February 10, 1982
The applicant commits to conducting a subsidence monitoring program, including
the installation of survey monuments adjacent to water district buildings
and at 300 foot intervals above all potentially affected pipelines. This
proposed monitoring program would be acceptable with the resolution of one
remaining deficiency. The application should be amended to include a
description of the proposed subsidence survey monument. Monuments must be
capable of resisting normal traffic and meteorological impacts, such as the
effects of freeze/thaw.
I believe that the majority of these reining problems could be expeditiously
resolved by the applicant. A meeting involving ourselves, the applicant's
representatives and the applicant's consultants, should allow determination
of which particular deficiencies would be ameanable to resolution through
permit stipulations.
/mt
cc: Fred Banta
Dave Shelton
