ti <br />3 <br />9) Please address rule 2.04.7(1) <br />regarding; <br />i) The depth and extent of the <br />the coal seam, <br />ii) the lithology and thickness <br />iii) the seasonal quantity and <br />within the aquifer, <br />to cover information <br />closest aquifer below <br />of the aquifer, <br />quality of the water <br />iv) and ownership, uses, and locations of all existing <br />wells, springs, and other developed ground water <br />resources within a one (1) mile radius of the <br />permit area. <br />10) As required by rule 2.04.7(2) surface water information <br />needs to be addressed. Please include in this section: <br />A) The name of the watershed and all surface bodies of <br />water that will receive water discharges from the <br />permit area, and use and ownership of these surface <br />water bodies. <br />B) Minimum, maximum, and average flows of streams and <br />water quality data of affected surface waters. <br />C) Please address alternate water supply information <br />as required by rule 2.04.7(3). <br />11) A surface water monitoring plan should be included in the <br />application that will fulfill the requirements of rule <br />2.05.6(3)(iv) in the event of surface water discharge from <br />the permit area. Alternately, the applicant may use an <br />appropriate demontration to explain why surface water <br />monitoring will not be necessary. <br />12) Climatological information regarding mean monthly <br />precipitation, temperature, and temperature ranges should <br />be included in accordance with rule 2.04.8. <br />13) The applicant has provided Exhibit 2 which delineates <br />vegetation communities as required by 2.04.10(1). <br />Unfortunately the quality of the map is illegible. Please <br />provide the Division with a legible vegetation map. <br />14) Clarification in respect to the sediment pond is required. <br />Page 64 of the application states that the pond shall <br />remain.
