Geotechnically I
don't have any prob]ems with the changes as proposed. Administratively,
however, I have found one significant problem. The four cross-sections
and plans accompanying the submittal are each certified by a professional
engineer registered to practice engineering in the State of Utah.
Unfortunately for the applicant, Colorado law and regulations require
that these plans and maps be certified by a professional engineer
registered to practice within the State of Colorado. The company could
correct the problem by having one of their staff engineers, who is
familiar with the principles involved, review and certify the drawings.
Their staff engineer could affix and sign his seal next to that of the
Utah engineer who originally prepared the documents.
cc: Ed Bischoff
423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203 Tel.
