Table 1 below shows a comparison of federal technology based limitations
(BAT), state effluent standards (SES), water quality standards (WQS) and a one
time analysis of the ground water in the aquifer. These values are applicable
to discharge point 005.

1/ Total Chromium Value
It should be pointed out that the on e time analysis is the maximum reported
value of ground water sam ples from a disturbed section of the aquifer and
represent, the "worst cas e" water quality of the aquifer. All of the data
reported for this aquifer are shown in Appendix A.
Total chromium was reported for the one time analysis. The maximum total
chromium value was less than the trivalent chromium standard but greater than
the hexavalent chromium standard. Thus, there is uncertainty about meeting
limitations for hexavalent chromium. '
