The study
also recommends a filter fabric be installed over boulder rubble if
used as a starter fill. We are currently questioning MAXIM as to
the necessity of the filter fabric.
The original ground surface and the proposed reclaimed contours are
generally no steeper than 3:1 overall. Therefore, as long as BRL
follows the fill placement specifications, stability should be
reasonably assured.
Please have Jim Pendleton review and comment on this document.
Within the next week we will be sending revised permit pages etc.,
which will commit BRL to performing the reclamation work se
recommended in the MAXIM report.
Please call if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
~r u~.,-~
Jim Stover, P.E.
Consulting Engineer
cc: Jim Pendleton
