Pond designs for the PI/P2 portal, P3 portal, and Fi119 were reviewed and the following <br />problems were noted: <br />P1~P2 Portal pond and fill pond designs (EX 15-1 and 15-13) <br />a) Culvert and ditch labeling should match EX 15-1 exactly <br />b) The elevation of the lowest set of holes disagrees with the sedimentation pond <br />summary. <br />c) The stage-storage table was not found in the submitted materials <br />d) The hydrograph detention time of 45 minutes seems rather low. Can this be <br />increased? <br /> <br />e) The elevation-azea-capacity-discharge table indicates a low orif ce at a capacity of <br />.21 ac-fi but the pond results give a permanent pool of 1.24 acre-ft. Why? <br />~ The culvert at 180+94 is not on figure EX IS-1. <br />g) "fhe Division believes that the fills at the portals should be protected by ditches <br />designed to divert the 100 yeaz event, due to the length of time these temporary <br />fill structures will be in-place.
