Most of the reclamation has
already been accomplished and only minor maintenance will be required over the
next 10 years.
If additional seeding far reclamation is necessary the seed mix should contain
only native vegetation. Settling ponds for rainwater runoff catchment have
been made that appear suitable to any contaminants potentially carried by the
rainwater. Since the sites are already impacted by mining activities the
Service commends the reclamation actions. Therefore, the Service has no
objections to the Reclamation Only Permit.
If the Service can be of further assistance, please contact Terry Ireland at
the letterhead address.
Sincerely,
~~
eith L.
