Long <br />Division Dnecmr <br />Re: Additional Adequacy Concern - Bowie II - C-96-083 <br />Upon brief review of the Curve Number analyses provided in the <br />above-referenced application, I note that the Mountain Shrub areas <br />are represented by a Curve Number of 41, which produces zero <br />modelled runoff. I acknowledge the detailed vegetation data <br />provided in Exhibit 5; however, I am concerned that the assumption <br />of zero runoff may be too risky. Are you sure that the Curve <br />Number of 41 appropriately represents all of the areas for which it <br />has been applied? Please provide a discussion regarding the <br />appropriateness of such a low Curve Number. <br />Thank you. <br />
